Looking for the High Road on a Muddy Slope

washingtonpost.com
"If accurate, such an egregious disclosure could have long-term and far-reaching damaging and dangerous consequences, and will imperil our efforts to protect the American people and our homeland from terrorist attacks," Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-Tenn.) and House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.) wrote in a letter to the chairmen of the House and Senate intelligence committees.

Looking embarassed by the indictment of Libby, GOP leaders try to deflect attention from the obvious violation of American values saying the people had no right to know. It would seem to me the voters have already sent them a message across the country yesterday. But the GOP isn't listening. They're too busy scrambling to find the high road on a muddy slope.
